There are 3 versions to this build. Directly below is the recommended setup since it is amazingly tanky. Great if you are a new player, new to this playstyle or just really hate dying. All the way at the bottom is an explanation of the less tanky but much more damage versions. I am still tanky and my only deaths were when I was playing careless and completely avoidable. The difference in each is only in gear and gem setups. So you can play as the tankier version and incorporate elements of the more damaged version as you see fit.
In Path of Exile Blight league. Do you hate moving out of stuff? Do you hate having to use Flasks? Do you like bleed damage? Then keep reading! I've designed this build to have enough tank to do all the content in the game if you're a bad player with an old PC like me. This build is the most popular Lacerate Gladiator Build. Bleedsplosions are a fun mechanic and the gear for the build is relatively cheap, but you can scale it as far as you want.
This Build For bosses you can take a couple of seconds to prep by casting Desecrate then killing the mobs in the boss room to get 20 Spiders. Or use a worm flask as your life flask to be extra safe. When Start Build Getting enough INT and DEX is a challenge for this build.
This build uses a combination of blocking and health regain to mitigate the incoming hits. Block recovery animation for blocking a hit that would stun does count as actually being stunned.
A potential future upgrade could be a crafted sword with the endurance charge on the block, though crafting is expensive for me and I don't have the correct Veiled mods yet. Might be able to extend "life" pool a little bit with MoM and making some adjustments to ES allocation. This might mean swapping out shield charge for Riposte to make sure fortify is always up.
