This Guide is always WIP as im playing LA every league not exclusive though. I'll add stuff from time to time. Its a pretty default softcore bow build using the generic offensive and defensive slayer perks and some abyssal/league specific items. That bow builds, in general, tend to be a bit harder as a league starter. If you want to play a bow char anyways you can try my build and I'll try to help you through the leveling by answering questions and providing some of my experiences.
In Poe 3.8, This is my first guide and I am excited to share what I have been playing since the start of Blight league. This is a Scourge Arrow Slayer build that focuses on stacking physical, cold and elemental damage. I currently have 60% Phys to cold conversion and enough DPS to melt down all content.
This build is creating off-meta builds capable of reaching the endgame. In Poe 3.8 Blight league Update: Huge Ignite buffs! Elementalist also got some love with some numerical buffs and QoL improvements. This should be the best iteration of the build so far, damage and smoothness wise. The build also dodged the Mana sustain nerfs.
This build is designed to run fast and clear maps safely. It summons storm brands that shock, freeze and trigger our herald to clear massive packs of mobs both on-screen and off. With Brand Recall we can pull the brands with us to a new screen, clear it AND extend the duration of the brands themselves. It has good single target for map bosses because if 2 brands attach themselves to the same target, it increases the damage each brand does by 50% more damage.
In POE 3.8 league, This build is like any attack hit. It's pretty low damage since it's only 50-72.8 of base damage. Lasts 1 second by default and does chaos damage over time. However! , it can be scaled with Increased Duration and Skill Effect Duration, as well as Concentrated Effect and a lot of different gems like Swift Affliction and Efficacy. Last the most interesting cause it does around 60 to 80% of our damage Explosions do area damage hits and, of the cause, scale with your weapon damage.
Welcome to my Toxic Rain guide. I think its a phenomenal build because it does not require a lot of gear to get started and progresses nicely as you invest more into it. As a player, I always liked builds that go fast. I prefer movement speed over move skills because I really dislike mashing a button to move and move speed makes looting so much smoother. Turns out that movement speed also makes delve and labs a cakewalk so that's that!

In 3.8 poison builds received massive buffs on the tree, at present one particular of the very best bows for this make received enormous buff too. This build, however, isn’t easily juiced a-la Big Streamer to use HH and Inspired Learning. I’ve been playing PoE for about two years now, and magic find is something I always return to once a league in various forms. This specific build I’ve geared in three different leagues and is a favorite of mine. I always run an MF character every league because I just keep coming back to the chill playstyle and the comfort that comes from running a bunch of maps at a low investment with tons of herald of ice shatters.
Ice Shot has been buffed, making this build even more insane, and much easier as a league starter. This is a very simple explanation of how chaining works and can get you insane clears. The difference between +2 and +3 is more noticeable than +3 to +4 but will leave one standing now and then.
In Path of Exile 3.8 league, This build is not a league starter, it is designed to push the bow character to its limits, and to pose as an alternative to PHYS bow builds. The core of this build is to shift how you look at dexterity. Instead of seeing it as some negligible buff to accuracy or evasion, or meeting requirements for your equipment, we are going to convert the attributes found on our gear to flat damage.
In POE 3.8, Scourge Arrow is a very powerful skill. Like Volatile Dead and other similar abilities, its AoE damage is powerful enough there is no need for a single target as well. With the upcoming changes to Scourge Arrow’s projectiles, there will be no more annoying clipping through doorways and hallways, leaving it up to you if you’d like to add in a Rain of Arrows secondary link for clear. This build can do all content! Though not extremely impressive in Delves 500+ with patience you could hit 600 for End Game Grinds.

I will also try to add some videos of the build once it is posted. I have been tuning this build for the past two leagues (Synthesis/Legion) and I've cleared all the regular content with it. This specific build I’ve geared in three different leagues and is a favorite of mine. Magic find is something I always return to once a league in various forms. The purpose of this character is for Magic Find Only. It can do all tiers with investment, including Eldered T16s, but like most MF, struggles with bosses. You can likely kill map bosses up to T10 or so, depending on your gear. The changes to Rares having more health make things a bit risky in Red maps, but it's still definitely doable with some gear changes.

I tried quite a few variations of SA (including CI Trickster version, for what I have another build) and I think I like this one the most.

This build is a very good League build. It does not require any specific uniques, all you need to get you through mid-tier maps is a decent DPS bow and flat added physical damage rings and amulet. Tornado Shot is one of the most popular bow skills in Path of Exile. And obviously, Ranger is pretty much the most suitable class to use it. All 3 Ranger Ascendency classes are extremely good, and choosing one of them has always been a close call. Raider is currently the best Ranger Ascendancy class for the end-game viable Tornado Shot Ranger build.
