Poe Malevolence Builds
List Poe Builds With Malevolence.
This build features over 6000 life, very high evasion with up to 95% evade chance cap, 50/40% dodge/spell dodge. Starting with the most important question: "Why Raider of all classes?" For powerful defensive abilities, QoL features and speed. When damage is not a problem, these are more valuable qualities than slightly higher dps number. That's why I believe this is the best ascendancy choice for life-based CA.
This is my take on Essence Drain-Contagion trickster. It took on all content in the game in 1.5 weeks, around 55 hours played at the time. It focuses on much more defenses than other Essence Drain guides you will find out there while achieving similar to higher damage numbers. While there are many other Essence Drain guides out there, the concepts shown here are the ones that prove to work best overall to clear the post-game content.
In Path of Exile 3.8 league, This is typical Toxic Rain develop with my personal spin on factors. The build is incredibly tanky, decent life pool, and has great damage and clear speed. This guide needs to be rather comprehensive, so if I left anything out, just ask within the comments. I also added some example calculations in the bottom if you would like to calculate your own DPS.
Welcome to my Pathfinder Toxic Rain guide. This is the first time I write a build guide so things might be missing. I will be actively maintaining it until 3.8 releases. I will also try to add some videos of the build once it is posted. I have been tuning this build for the past two leagues (Synthesis/Legion) and I've cleared all the regular content with it. I think its a phenomenal build because it does not require a lot of gear to get started and progresses nicely as you invest more into it.
In Path of Exile 3.8, Elementalist also got some love with some numerical buffs and QoL improvements. So this is scourge arrow elementalist build of my first. This should be the best iteration of the build so far, damage and smoothness wise. The build also dodged the Mana sustain nerfs.
This my first build guide. This build focuses on the chest piece Death's Oath. If this is well received, I might make more for my other characters. I did not make this out of scratch, I was looking to try an occultist in Bestiary and Pohx was playing a DO Occultist in Bestiary that I liked and put my own spin on it.
This build is standard Toxic Rain build with my own spin on things. The build is incredibly tanky, decent life pool, and has great damage and clear speed. This guide should be rather comprehensive, so if I left anything out, just ask in the comments. The build remains relatively unchanged, however with the difference in league content, some differences might be warranted.

And this guide should be rather comprehensive. The build is incredibly tanky, decent life pool, and has great damage and clear speed. Path of Exile 3.8 changes to poison interacting with DOT Multi MIGHT make PF poison decent
Welcome to my Scourge Arrow build guide. In Path of Exile Blight, Scourge Arrow Clarified the Piercing behavior on the gem. So, let me start with saying that I really love Scourge Arrow. I tried quite a few variations of SA (including CI Trickster version, for what I have another build) and I think I like this one the most.
In Path of Exile Blight, This can be my very first make for Occultist. This construct will potentially do a little a lot more harm than in three.7. No transform to Essence Drain/Bane harm from 3.7. ES mechanics and item-related elements remain identical as three.7. Contagion received a hefty nerf to its radius, so it is advisable playing ED/Bane Low life version in three.eight. You are able to opt for either Low Life or CI, but recall that Low Life will provide you with a lot more utilities and overall harm.
This could be a phenomenal make because it does not require rather a little gear to obtain began and progresses nicely as you invest extra into it. As a player, I constantly liked builds that go quickly. I choose movement speed greater than move capabilities for the explanation that I definitely dislike mashing a button to move and move speed tends to produce looting so much smoother. Turns out that movement speed also makes delve and labs a cakewalk so that is that!
This is my take on a Cold DoT Occultist. This character uses Vortex as its main damage source with a Frostbolt delivery system. You'll also be using Cold Snap, but I rarely use it, mostly just Vaal Cold Snap for the burst. The build is safe, does great damage and scales well throughout the entire game. So it's a great league starter and perfect for SSF especially.
Does your existing develop leave you asking yourself if probably Cast on Death / Portal may possibly be a great concept? Do you prioritize choosing up loot more than finishing off mob packs? Are you currently just tired of dying, but still choose to be capable of do all the content inside a reasonable time frame? Would you prefer to have the ability to stand in that nasty red AoE in the Legion mobs?
The choice between the two abilities comes down to personal preference, and some enjoy to cast Essence Drain and spread it by having a Contagion cast before you use ED. However, I felt that the approach of using Bane was smoother, faster, and honestly, better in all ways.
This is a friendly, league-starter viable, solo-self-found viable, and comprehensive Bane Occultist guide. The leveling section in this guide is meant to take players with a fresh install or in a fresh league and get them into maps and started on a powerful character. Interested readers can find gear priority, stat suggestions, mechanics explanations, and a whole bunch of links that might be useful for newer players.
Flesh and Stone are amazing and will probably end up a staple of this Build, as Blind + Iron Reflexes is ridiculous. Blind reduces the chance to hit by 50%. Since you cannot Evade with Iron Reflexes, Monsters would have a 100% chance to hit you --> 50%.
This build is ED+Bane Build on 3.7 Legion Content since this is currently the second most popular skill for the league. As everyone figured would be the case, this skill combo absolutely wrecks the league mechanic. It’s not quite as strong in the multiple army emblem encounters as it is in the map monoliths, but combined with being a strong/cheap league starter, it’s a great all-around choice.
Poe Blight is shorter ranged and thus less consistent against mobile enemies. It also requires the use of a threshold jewel to be worth using, taking a slot that would otherwise be more EHP. In exchange, it provides a stronger hinder and significant extra damage when you can apply it
The build utilizes Chaos Inoculation, which makes you 100% immune to all sources of chaos damage, including poison. However, you'll have 1 HP and therefore need to cover yourself with Energy Shield alone. This is not suggested for new levels, and this guide will cover the transition and workarounds to get yourself to CI.
The changes to Occultist in 3.7 hurt the high amount of Energy Shield we were able to obtain. Those changes bring the build down from over 9k ES to ~7.5k ES. Damage remains about the same or slightly lower with the first pass at the posted PoB which may be tweaked later as the league officially starts.
