First I want to say that build is heavily inspired by Mathil's Viper Strike build from 3.7 leagues. I liked it very much and wanted to push it to the next level. If you liked Mathil's poison build, wanna run like a maniac and clear like an autobomber but also delete bosses you will like this even more because it has 2x damage with superior defenses. On top of that, it's ranged. He did a great job by scaling that build the right way. I didn't publish my guide for Viper Strike because making mandatory 2 gem swaps was too much hassle.

As a player, I always liked builds that go fast. I prefer movement speed over move skills because I really dislike mashing a button to move and move speed makes looting so much smoother. Turns out that movement speed also makes delve and labs a cakewalk so that's that!
This build features over 6000 life, very high evasion with up to 95% evade chance cap, 50/40% dodge/spell dodge. Starting with the most important question: "Why Raider of all classes?" For powerful defensive abilities, QoL features and speed. When damage is not a problem, these are more valuable qualities than slightly higher dps number. That's why I believe this is the best ascendancy choice for life-based CA.
This is my take on Essence Drain-Contagion trickster. It took on all content in the game in 1.5 weeks, around 55 hours played at the time. It focuses on much more defenses than other Essence Drain guides you will find out there while achieving similar to higher damage numbers. While there are many other Essence Drain guides out there, the concepts shown here are the ones that prove to work best overall to clear the post-game content.

This is my take on a Cold DoT Occultist. This character uses Vortex as its main damage source with a Frostbolt delivery system. You'll also be using Cold Snap, but I rarely use it, mostly just Vaal Cold Snap for the burst. The build is safe, does great damage and scales well throughout the entire game. So it's a great league starter and perfect for SSF especially.
