This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Active Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.

Path of Exile Shrapnel Shot now comes with two additional projectiles, giving a close-range focus to the Skill. It also has added lightning damage that grows as the gem levels. Be very careful with rare enemies with reflective aura, the damage done is extreme and you can die, Eznpc Builder died one time. Do not use the cone damage to kill, just the arrow.
This is my casual take on Icicle Mines not following any guides and just using the knowledge gathered in few leagues. Thus as a disclaimer, this guide would not be for everyone but more of an inspiration as to what could work. As 3.8 came out with new mines, Icicle mines seemed like a good AOE clear option due to the crit chance build up and in all honesty the sweet sweet sound of enemies shattering into million tiny pieces. As far as the build goes currently, it deals with any pack easily and effortlessly.
In POE 3.8, Quiet shattering of enemy corpses? What about having infinite mana sustain and being nearly impossible to hit? How about being able to clear all content on a low budget? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this build is for you. This build you can choose literally any skill with traps and it will perform admirably with this guide. If you want to play *insert other spell skill here*, feel free. Just make sure to remove any projectile/lightning-related skill nodes/gear bits/jewel stats and make them fit the skill you choose.
For this build, there's nothing mandatory. You'll need some strength on your stuff and a bit of dexterity. Noone bothered with this weird combination, but I actually had a blast even though single target damage was complete crap. With some jewels and abyssal gear and regen in the ascendancy it became much better, yet still sucked for a single target in general. So I've been waiting for some single target help and looks like it finally arrived in 3.8!
This build is my first try to write another simple build guide and any criticism is welcome. First of all, I decided to play SSF in Blight league and beat Uber Elder for the first time on my own. Therefore the build has to be a bosskiller but doesn't suck at general map clearing, so I end up by playing a trapper once again but change from arc to ice trap instead since it is buffed massively in terms of number.
This build focuses on using Glacial Cascade depending on the situation. Glacial Cascade is a strong map clearer and also kills bosses with ease up to tier 16 guardians where we also get help from flamethrower traps to burn them within seconds. You can actually kill everything including Shaper without flamethrower traps but they are just too powerful so you wouldn’t want to miss the fun. This build is capable of clearing every end game content deathless including Uber Elder if you know what you are doing.

In Path of Exile, Arc Trapper every league because it just feels so great for me to just throw things on the ground and wait for Arc to kill those mobs for me! So im creating this build because I was successful at killing Uber Elder and This build is a Balanced approach on the game to make sure you are able to finish all content.

Lightning Spire Trap Lightning Spire Trap is your big cooldown trap, a very powerful trap that destroys tougher foes. It also gains increased critical chance against Shocked enemies, the same way Lightning Trap does. This is why using Vaal Lightning Trap Vaal Lightning Trap against bosses is very important since it leaves Shocked ground, which allows you to Shock even endgame bosses.
This build Trap Support has no cooldown now in 3.6 and you can throw 15 Traps instead of 3. THIS IS A BUFF, so now it's all about your Throwing Speed + cooldown for lengthy 8 second Traps. In 3.7 Arc does 15% MORE damage per remaining chain. If 1 enemy is on screen it will be 105% more damage, which is DOUBLE the damage. So it's now good against single target.
This build for end game Uberlab farming with %500+ movement speed. It is not the quickest build but adequate for farming Poe Currency. Traps are usually not challenging only 1-2 time they may hit you and trap harm are running your %life so low life doesn't matter when operating traps
